Are we available for a viewing of the venue?Yes! We are flexible to suit your needs. Please contact us to arrange a date. We usually need two days notice.

Do we need to hire a cold room and catering services?Yes. We do not have a cold room or kitchen facilities at our venue. Caterers and bar staff have shelter, power and water available to use.

Do I need to supply bathroom products?Do I need to supply bathroom products? No. We will supply toilet rolls, hand wash and hand towels. Should you wish to offer your guests more, you will need to supply this.

Do we have to use the stage in the reception shed?No. The space is yours to use as you like. Should you wish to use the stage, we ask it is only used for your bridal party, MC and band/DJ.

Do you offer decoration services?No. We do not offer any form of decoration services.

I don’t need all the chairs and tables. Do you take them away?I don’t need all the chairs and tables. Do you take them away? Yes. Liaise with us on your reception and ceremony amounts and we will remove the excess. Wines barrels and bar stools are inclusive regardless.

Do you have drinking water?We run on bore water. You must offer your guests bottled water.

I have elderly and those with a disability attending, how are they catered for?I have elderly and those with a disability attending, how are they catered for? We have an amenities block with ramped access and a baby change table. Our ceremony areas are on mildly sloped but hard ground. Our shed is fully concreted.

Can we use confetti cannons?Yes! We allow natural and biodegradable confetti throughout the venue. Sparklers are also permitted with great care taken for disposing the wire (we have tin bins)

Are we flexible on hire time?Time frame deadlines must be met within the package selected. Our hire period is not negotiable.

Can I bring my animals to the property to be included in my celebrations?Can I bring my animals to the property to be included in my celebrations? Yes. You can bring your dogs and horses to our venue. We just need you to provided full up to date vaccinations prior to your hire date.

What are the rules around campers?We have a large 5 acre area for campers tucked away from the celebration areas. Absolutely no fires are permitted and the area must be left tidy.

Do you provide accommodation?Kaban Heights offers camping to our guests including amenities. Whilst we are currently working on our own Air BnB, the closest we can offer is Kaban Park Bridal Kottage.

Do you have showers and power for campers?Do you have showers and power for campers? There is one shower in each male and female toilets. We currently do not have power or water to camping sites. Campers are advised to be self sustained.

What sort of terrain is Kaban Heights?We have grass lawns with wood chip pathways through our pine forest. The lawns are slightly sloped with the terrain. Our shed is concrete and we have loose rock around our shed. We recommend guests were block heels.
Rules and Responsibilities
All children must be strictly supervised and remain with parents or guardians at all times during functions. No liability will be taken.

The Hirer is responsible for any loss or damage inflicted on the venue or equipment during the period of hire.
Kaban Heights is careful when looking after its guests and their belongings however we cannot accept responsibility for the loss or damage to any property of guests during the duration of the stay.

Kaban Heights will not be liable for any failure or delay caused by an event such as fire, flood, cyclone, storm or power outage that occurs beyond the reasonable control of Kaban Heights by the Pines. We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred or for consequential loss of any nature.

Kaban Heights by the Pines have a strict “return it how you found it” policy. Please ensure rubbish is stacked, cans and bottles are either removed or stacked and the area is tidy. We will charge a cleaning fee if we deem it unclean.​​
Whilst we have our cattle behind fences and yards, should you wish to interact with our livestock, we take no responsibility for damages.
